Dozens of Penjaringan residents, North Jakarta, can get free birth certificate from North Jakarta Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Sub-Department. These birth certifications are handed in Jakarta 487 Anniversary, in Waduk Pluit, Sunday (6/1).

Head of North Jakarta Dukcapil Sub-Dept, Edison Sianturi, said that actually, there are hundreds of Penjaringan residents who apply to get free birth certificate. "There are hundreds of residents who applied, but we only prepare 60 birth certificates," said Sianturi.

This certification giving is a part of City Anniversary event as the public approaching to make them easy in registering birth certificate, either for personal or for family purpose.

Sianturi appealed the public to register birth certificate as legality in taking school enrollment or job seeking.

Muhammad Sanusi (24) a resident of Dusun Muara Angke, Cinta Kasih 2, A7 5C, Muara Angke, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, admitted happy getting the free birth certificate from North Jakarta Sub-Department.
